Thank you, Aubrey, for writing this excellent article. Your analysis re Secretary Bessent is spot-on—from rural South Carolina to London/Soros hedge fund billionaire, he needs to resign before it is too late for him to extricate himself (and his reputation) from the lawlessness. He has lost his way with disastrous consequences for our country.

Thank you for your stirring call to action, Aubrey.

There is lots individuals of conscience can do now to protest Trump Administration actions including participating in:

1. National Economic Blackout Day (Hit Them in Their Profits) on 2/28. NO SPENDING for 24 hrs from 12am to 11:59pm.
2. Protest Amazon – March 7-March 14 – No buying from Amazon for the week.
3. National Strike – March 14 – No work for 24hrs for all workers, businesses and higher education organizations.
4. Flood GOP legislators offices and the White House with phone calls protesting White House and DOGE actions.

Also, a local march protesting the Trump administration’s massive firings and layoffs, freeze on disbursement of approved grants and loans, shut-down of USAID, disasterous insertion into the wars in Ukraine and GAZA, etc. is being organized for April 14 – the date of the Shot Heard ‘Round the World.
